House of Hope

Just last week, our nurse neighbor who's assigned at the House of Hope at Southern Philippines Mecial Center (SPMC), formerly known as Davao Medical Center (DMC), posted a message on our subdivision's association's FB page. Here's the post:
House of Hope will be celebrating its 4th year anniversary, 4 years of housing children with cancer in Mindanao. We are appealing to kindhearted individuals or groups to donate used clothing, toys or things you dont anymore need for a garage sale. Proceeds of the sale will go to the chemotherapy medications of this children. thank you
Since it's for a good cause, naturally, we started looking for old and outgrown clothes at home to share it with the House of Hope.

Anyway, guys, if you happen to have old and outgrown clothes that you want to give away, please share some of them to the House of Hope. No matter how little it is, it can help a lot children already.

Just in case you need someone to pick them up, people affiliated to the House of Hope are willing to do that. Let's share our blessings to these children.

Usana's new look

It has been a while since I last opened the Usana Health Sciences site after I joined and become an associate a year ago. So, when I opened it up today to place an order, here's what I saw.

Usana was established in 1992, founded by Dr. Myron Wentz, who launched Gull Laboratories in 1974. Dr. Wentz is an internationally recognized microbiologist, immunologist, and pioneer in the development of human cell culture technology and infectious disease diagnoses, holds a bachelor's degree in biology from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, a master's degree in microbiology from the University of North Dakota, and a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

In addition to that, Dr. Wentz created Sanoviv Medical Institute, a holistic medical facility with full hospital accreditation located in Baja California. In recent years Dr. Wentz has turned his attention to charitable and humanitarian concerns, founding the Wentz Medical Centre and Laboratory in Uganda and the Wentz Medical Centre in Cambodia to serve children in those countries orphaned by diseases such as malaria and HIV. In 2006 Dr. Wentz was a recipient of the Children's Champion Award, presented by the Children's Hunger Fund, for which he travels worldwide as a medical missionary. In 2007 Dr. Wentz was honored with the Albert Einstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Life Sciences.

To date, Usana has already expanded to 14 countries worldwide, the latest being China.

What's cool about Usana when you become an associate:
    • Your business can be passed to your heirs;
    • The earnings are in Dollars and the exchange rate is $ 1.00 to Php 48.00;
    • It's already BFAD approved in the Philippines;
    • It's already recognized in the Philippines Pharmaceutical Directory (PPD);
    • It's number 1 in the Comparative Guide to Nutritionals Supplements in USA, Canada, Australia;
    • Of course, the incentives.
The supplements are completely safe as their components come from fruits and vegetables through extraction method.

Are we taking the right supplements for our body? Let me show you a video of the apple test that they had experimented for the Usana Essentials.

If you want to become a business associate and you're living in Davao or for the sake of information on the benefits of Usana to our body, you can always inquire at the comments portion on this entry. You can also email sweepz.tan@gmail.com.
