Well, the technology wasn't really that new anymore since there are TV manufacturers who has already featured their 3D television sets in their stalls long before the cinemas opened here in Davao. Basically, I had a glimpse of what a 3D movie looks like and how it works but I didn't have the benefit of watching a whole movie on 3D screens.

3D Cinemas here in Davao ranges from Php 200.00 to Php 300.00 pesos, 3D glasses are already included in the cinema fee. Ordinary cinemas, on the other hand, ranges from Php 95.00 to Php 150.00.
Ayala Abreeza 3D cinema, which is fully equipped with Dolby Surround Sound System, is pretty small but what's good about it is that you can buy tickets at an earlier date to choose which seat placement you prefer. Pregnant women and handicapped movie goers have a special area for their seat.
As for the food, Taters Davao, which is owned by 2 of my friends in Davao, is already available in Ayala Abreeza. And what's cool about Taters? Well, they deliver food inside the cinemas. Just give them the cinema number and your seat number and they'll deliver the food in no time.
While waiting for the movie to start, just in front of Taters is Timezone where you and your kids can have fun.
